1990 Camaro IROC-Z 5-Speed with only 123 miles
from the article:
This 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z is said to be one of 34 5-speed 1LE performance package equipped cars and shows just 123 claimed accurate miles on the odometer. Designed for SCCA Showroom Stock racing, the ILE offered upgraded brakes, suspension and other pieces included when a carefully selected mix of add-ons and delete options triggered fitment of the rare package on the assembly line. Many were bought and mothballed with hopes for a future, COPO-like rise in value, but this is the lowest mileage example we’ve seen yet. car is for sale on eBay in suburban Chicago, Illinois with no reserve.

Well I know why there are very few of them. Its a really bad idea. The 305's did not hold up well when pushed on the street. If you took it to the track and pushed it for real how long would it last? I did a dozen or so 305 crank kits under warranty on cars with less than 36K on the clock. Many of those where under 20K.
The only time I had to repair a L98 350 (that was in the automatic LE1's) was if something else caused the failure, like a stuck thermostat or fan not working.
