Front springs 1980 Z28 f41 suspension
There seems to be many springs on line that come up when i punch in the car. Starting to get confused, so far Eaton part number 1412 seems to be the one I need but would like to buy locally in case I get the wrong spring. Moog #6486 comes up but seems to be a fit for all models and I would think the heavy duty suspension would be different. Someone here mentioned Global West # c-7412-282 but went to the website and no longer available. I am just going to cruise in the car so dont need anything special but dont want to go cheap and regret it later. Can anyone recommend what i should be installing. Thanks for your reply, this is my first kinda put the car back together project. 350 engine

just go with the springs that are recomended the 6486 will be a great stock replacement but remember the new spring will ride high for a few years before settling downalso what engine do you have? aluminum heads will factor heavily into the ride height

The HD F41 suspension is a different spring. It's a bit stiffer than the standard Camaro spring. But it's not different than the HD spring spec'd for the standard Camaro with AC. I ordered the HD spring for a car with 350 and AC for mine, and they worked great to replace my F41 springs. Moog 580. As mentioned, a bit higher stance when new.
Carid has them for $23 ea. on Ebay.
