Default 1981 Berlinetta

Hey all, picked up the car on a trade a couple weeks ago. Needs a little bit of body work but it is running and driving. Don't dig the paint but that is down the road. Attached are some pics of Anna (hence my screen name).

It unfortunately has the 267 V8 and a 4 speed auto. I'm gonna try to keep updating this thread as I go. Thanks!

Cody

Looks like a good clean car, and a great base to start from. I don't know a lot about the 267 V8, but it has an odd bore and stroke. The same stroke as a 350, but the smallest bore of any SBC built. That makes a poor combo for a performance build, so if you are looking at performance, a 350 SBC swap would be the cheapest way to gain a lot of performance, and not kill economy.
Does the Anna name have anything to do with the yellow color? Like Anna Banana?

Yea I had actually never even heard of the 267 honestly. When I read about it though I definitely made a mental note to ditch it and go with a 350 down the road. What a crappy v8 haha.

Yeah, the 267 was short lived, for obvious reasons. Not as economical as they had hoped for, and down on power.
