1970 build....

Yep, I fought those new rubber bushings that came in my springs too! Wish they'd just leave them out, and put them in the package. I heated up the center sleeve to burn mine out, and what a stinky mess!

You may have thought if this already, but I put paper tags on all my parts that use grease or oil, and write a note to remind me if they are full or empty. Had a bad experience once where I was away from a build for months, and forgot to add gear oil to the rear axle before the first test drive!

Been busy on a customer project, but I finally got my rear brakes fitting up this evening. The Chevy 10/12 bolt rear ends use the same kits, which uses a 2.75" offset, but it turns out that, for some reason, one side of my axle had a 2 7/8" offset, which meant that the caliper was VERY close to the rotor. I ended up making a spacer to get the mount set up correctly to get everything centered up. Unfortunately, the kit was missing a wheel stud, so I need to call and ***** about that so I can get everything complete finally.
