Default 1978 Camaro Replacement Seat Belts (Need Some Help)

Hello Everyone,

This is my first time on the forum and I am looking for some help.

I just purchased a 1978 Z28 Camaro and need to replace the front drive and passenger side seat belts. I have looked around and found a few "era correct" options, but they are around $300 for the pair. Is there a cheaper option available to your knowledge? Is it possible to use newer seat belts that might be cheaper?

Your thoughts and options would be very apprecaited.

Thanks!

Maybe you can find some used ones in good shape on Ebay. There are also several internet dealers that specialize in Camaro parts. Even buying aftermarket seatbelts probably won't be cheap.

Those seatbelts could be used in any gm car. Phone the auto wreckers and ask what their interchange shows as compatible models to interchange parts with.
