No power, won't turn over/no lights.
Hey guys, I recently bought a 79 camaro 350 4 speed and I'm in the process of restoring it. I removed the headers and painted them a couple of days ago, while putting them back one of the wires from the start arced to a piece of the car. Now I have no power at all, no lights, the starter won't turn over. Obviously something wrong with the starting circuit but I can figure out what it is. Help is greatly appreciated!!

Most likely blew the fusible link. It's on the red wire that's connected to the same stud on the starter that the battery cable is on. That's a main feed wire to the rest of the car. Look to see what gauge wire that is, then look here for what you need: Catalog
You don't want to wire it direct (bypass the link) as that protects the car from burning to the ground. The fusible link is a slow blow, so using a regular inline fuse instead won't work since they are quick blow.
