Here are the specs for the heads
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/...wnumbers2.html

I bought the crane rockers (shortcut above)

I'm the one of the esnipers that snipes the auctions in the last 6 seconds, no one ever knows you are bidding till it's too late

It is a wonderful tool, I win 99% of the time, unless the reserve has not been met

It costs about .01% $10 for a $1000 item BUT YOU WIN!!!

and I ebay a lot

Here is a picture of the piston, if anyone can determine what pistons they are, and tell me they are ok to use with my 70cc edelbrock heads,

NOTE: They are 2.02 intake, should I worry?

It would be most appreciated

hypereutonic sp? should put you at 9:1 if the block hasnt been decked and a .038 thick head gasket. I was thinking I know the earlier blocks had serial numbers on the deck surface on the engine block pad infront of the passenger side head if it is not present the block has probably been decked or vice versa. I came up with about 350 engine hp with the cam you said you had.

very nice heads, just be sure to use the recommended gaskets and use new bolts. tap the holes in the block and use some non hardening sealer on the head bolt threads to prevent coolant sepage up the threads..follow the cam grinders break in procedure for the cam to the letter...and I always retorque heads after the first 5 hours of engine run...

The cam and heads should work very well for you...just watch the inital and total timing..It's a relatively short lift cam Shouldn't have a problem with piston to valve clearance as well...

The new bolts are on their way, I bought the Edelbrock 7361 Head Gaskets specified for these heads

Is the torquing of aluminum heads different (say torque all to 25 ftlbs, then torque all to 65 or whatever it is) than cast iron heads?

With this setup, should I keep initial timing 12 deg BTDC?

The only thing I am concerned with is adjusting the valve lash, with the crane roller rockers and getting it right the first time (I have never installed a set of these before)

QUESTION # 17 WHAT SIZE STALL CONVERTER SHOULD I USE FOR THIS SETUP??

QUESTION #18 WHAT BENIFIT WOULD I GAIN TO INSTALL ROLLER TAPPETS NOW, AND IS THERE ANY REASON NOT TO??
