i´d buy a camaro a few weeks ago, the past owner said it was a model SS, from 1973. The plate trim tag in the front of the driver´s windshield have this information:

ST 1Q87KCV104881 BDY
TR 775.926.162515 PNT
VP 0102

Can someone tell me what model is my camaro please?

 

All I could tell was it came with a 350 4 bb. in 73 the SS was dropped for the Lt. you can check all your codes at nastyz28.com it will give you all the info you need.

 

I get in there but the problem is that i get data from the 1Q87K... but the following information do not match whit my tim trag... it should follow a number next to the K but i got a CV... the other thing is the second line of the tim trag... 775 it´s ok but then my tim trag have much numbers of that it should have... and the line 3 (vp 0102) also don´t match... so... or my camaro come from the earth or i really don´t know...

And i´m new in this thing of camaros.... there are technicals things that i don´t know what it means...

Yeah there are a ton of extra numbers in your tag. What ever it is it looks great. I have the same problem with mine. My car has no holes for any badges or even a chevy logo on it. and the vin tells me nothing about what it is other then sports coup. The gut I got my car from was a huge fan of the copo cars,so he stripped everything that wasn't needed and threw in a 454. So all I know is I have a Camaro. Good luck with the search.
