Here is what I run in my 69 RS and 67 SS.
Camaro LED Sequential Taillight Conversion Kit, 1969 - Rick's Camaro Parts
I have ran these for a couple years now. Very easy to install and they are nice and bright.

I changed my 69 to LED. I bought them from Summitt racing for about $150 on sale. They are not just new light bulbs but the whole lens is replaced. It is easy to do. They are soooo much brighter. Just remember there are 2 flashers. Both have to be electronic. One is on the fuse panel the other is under the dash almost in the middle of the car. Mine was just behind the ash tray above the console. The one on the panel controls the 4 way flashers. The other is the signal lights.

I swapped my '71 to LED taillights and they were much brighter than stock. Beyond that they are trouble free, so no more checking the lights to see if they were still working.
Since the LED are red, I was able to change my inner taillights to LED also, and make all 4 of my taillights red LED. So in addition to being brighter, I had twice as many brake lights to get the attention of drivers when stopping.
Here's a picture in the daylight:
