1969 Camaro Automatic to 4 or 5 speed Manual
Hello:
I am looking to convert my 1969 Camaro 350 LT1 from automatic to 4 or 5 speed transmission.
Does anyone have some words of wisdom or experience they could share with me?
Thanks for the help.

I went from T350 to a 200R4. I didn't care for the 200R4.
I then sold the 200R4 and bought a Muncie for the rebuild. Altogether, all the parts for the 4 spd conversion were about $2k.
After giving it a lot of thought, I think the better way to go is a TKO 500. Places like Summit Racing sell the whole kit for a 1st gen for $3500. The TKO lets you use a 3.55 - 4.10 rear gear and still cruise nicely on the highway in overdrive.

I am in the process of converting a 1969 Camaro from automatic to tremec 5 speed. I was wondering if the dual clutch/brake pedal assembly will mount to the existing bracket for the existing single brake pedal without modifications?
Thanks!
Thanks!
