1968 Camaro transmission questions
I have a 68 camaro with a 421 stroker and a powerglide.
the powerglide doesnt seem to be shifting as far as i can tell.
I have a th-350 that i used with my 78 Trans Am with an Oldsmobile 455 motor.
my question is, will the th-350 i have bolt right up to my chevy 400 block or will i need an adapter plate?
I heard that the th-350/powerglide/700r4 are all dimensionally the same and i wouldnt have to change driveshaft length as well?
thanks in advance

If that TH350 is strictly a B-P-O bolt pattern, then no it won't bolt up to the SBC. There were some universal bolt pattern versions made, that would fit all. But if yours has the defined dip at the top, it's not a universal.
