I'm a little nervous about the build. I know I shouldn't be, but I am.

Thanks Camaro 69 & Chevynutz I'll try. I'll just be happy when she's back in one piece again and not scattered around a shop.

I'm hoping mine will be starting soon. I know what you mean about being worried. I'm not only worried, but a bit intimidated. I've never done anything like this before. I'm glad to be here too, watching others going through the same thing.

But, if you don't mind... you first.

Boy, do your pictures bring back some not so fond memories.

My car started out with a 6 cyl in it, and was even Cortez silver but mine had a black vinyl top.

The only thing that is still original to the car is the body shell and the cowl panel.

Good luck with your project and go maple leafs!

Thanks for the well wishes. This car had a blue top before I got it. Just as well they ripped it off. This car still has original trunk lid, one door, cowl panel, header panel, lower valence and an original hood which I swapped out for an original 69 Z28 hood. Should have some update pictures soon. I'd like to see some pictures of your cars. Oh and as for the Leafs... I can't cheer for them... I'd rather watch any other team.

Here's a small update of the progress. I just took these photos yesterday. The project is still moving forward. Had to replace the floor. We were going to just patch the few small holes on both sides of the front and then the panels came complete with the rear so we did everything. Also painted the new parts and cleaned up the engine.

Very cool, keep moving forward, there's no turning back now.

What are your plans for the drivetrain?

Are you going to keep the 6 cyl or replace it with a V-8?
