That's interesting. I never heard that before. I imagine this tire size would still be the best. Anything smaller would just look too narrow.

My kit was made by CCP and they state that it moves the wheels outboard by an 1/8".

With the tires that I have on the front and the stance, when I turn my wheels all the way to either side, the edge of my tire hits the wheel well molding.

Just something to keep an eye on....

I just came back from a shop close to me. The guy had two beautiful Camaro's there. A 67' and a 69'. The 69' looked amazing. 235/60/15 on the front and 255/60/15 rear. I'm starting to sway in that direction. I'm wondering if there is any rubbing in the front. ??? I couldn't get a good pic because it was on the hoist.

You should be fine, just don't go flying around any sharp corners until you make sure you got clearance.

That is a nice looking car.

I had a 69 Camaro, with a blown 396 sitting in my driveway last night. It had a mother thumper cam in it and boy did it sound nice. It was a 4 speed car too.

Engine is finally in. She sounds pretty loud with open headers. Has a nice low growl. I need to order a few more parts including the exhaust and a new shifter. I also had to send the drive shaft in to be shortened.

It's getting closer......is it going to be on the open road before 2017?

The sound of an opened header big block....nice!

Yeah, she sounds nice. It's like a NASCAR in the shop when it was running.

I was hoping to be on the road six weeks ago. Unfortunately, we didn't get started until five weeks after my deadline. Now with the late start and unforeseen issues, I will probably be on the road in the spring. I still want to replace the interior and get all the stuff under the dash working. I'll have to get a larger rad too.

I'm fortunate that my wife is tolerant of me. I get away with a lot.

Me too, with my wife.

She actually said to me, how much is it going to cost me for a set of

aluminum heads for the new motor....

Keep moving forward, you'll get there.

That is so cool. We're very lucky. I have a couple of friends that can't do anything including going out for a ride on their bikes.
