Did you get your stripe kit yet?

I just ordered a kit from a guy in Canada and the price was very good.

He sells the hockey style kit for around $56 (USA) price.

Mine was a "custom" hockey stick style stripe and cost $80 and he made it to colors that would look good on my car.

I haven't done anything to the car except put on the rear spoiler since it came home. I've just been very busy with the house and kids. I've been riding my bike when ever I can but unfortunately the funds are not there right now to continue moving forward with the car. I'm hoping over the fall and winter to get a new interior, tires, rims. But that will be just the beginning. I could really use a nice big work space.

I still haven't heard back for the body shop about the stripe kit. I'll have to give them a call. There's no urgency now since the car's home. Thanks for your inquiry.

I hope everyone is still working on there cars.
Until next time.

Nice looking project. My I6 was damaged in the fire, or I would think real hard before building a V8.

I would feel funny driving it without the v8. It doesn't have to be the quickest car on the road. Just quick. My neighbours got 600hp in his Cobra and he only drives it 6 days in the year. So, I'll be happy with 300hp and driving all summer.

Hi guys. It's been a while since I did anything to the car. I'm planning on getting her out of the garage this year. I picked up a nice set of 15x7 rally rims last night. I hope to start up the build very soon. Just waiting for schedules to open up. I'll let you all know of the progress.

OK I'm excited now! Found a complete big block for the old girl. The guy is also giving me the turbo 400 that's attached to it. I should have it in about 10 days or so. Then the fun begins...

Here's what it looked like just before the tear down. It sounded good when I bought it but just for piece of mind we are going to open her up and have a good look. Then a nice fresh coat of paint before we put it in the car.

I still have to get a few parts before the install. I'm hoping to install next week. I also have a front brake conversion kit that's going in. I guess I should do that first.
