headliner rear windlace 1967-8-9
#2
Welcome, Miller, to the Club.
The headliner wraps around the bead/seam/joint on both top and sides, then the molding/windlace slips over the cloth and bead.
Start in the middle and form around the bead making the liner clip onto the 'teeth' of the bead, then shove on the molding.
Same with the sides and windshield.
When done, headliner should be tight enough to 'bounce a quarter' on it.

Sealant? Retainer? Picture?
I pulled off molding, remove/replaced liner, then pushed molding back on.
I didn't worry about no stinkin' glue ...
Let new liner set in sun for a couple hours lying flat before install.
