I just found a '68 Camaro. It's in Nevada County CA. Can anyone tell me the significance of the engine block number T1219MY 18L323077. It is a very intact car. I have pix on my cell phone but can't get them to attach.

Not sure what numbers those are. A google search brings up nothing and they are not the right format for casting numbers. Maybe that is like a date code and internal batch code?

These are his front pad stampings

T1219MY...
T: Tonawanda engine plant
12: December
19: 19th day of the month
MY: 396 325 hp Camaro engine

18L323077...
1: Chevy
8: 1968
323077: last 6 digits of the car's VIN.
If those 6 VIN digits match up to your car's VIN, then you have yourself a matching numbers SS big block car.
