Default t56 Swap

I picked up a 96 Z28 that has the LT1 6 speed manual this weekend. Planning on putting the trans in my 67. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. I got the whole car so everything is there. However i would prefer to go with the manual linkage for the clutch as opposed to the the hydraulic clutch. My 67 was originally a 4 speed so I have the clutch pedal and linkage.
Thanks

I think you are going to have to find a how too thread. The clutch is custom since you can not use the LT1 fly wheel and I do not think mechanical linkage is going to work because the hydraulic cylinder push the opposite direction of your mechanical linkage.

Last time I looked there was kit available for $2500 that made this a bolt in application but that was 5 or 6 years ago. I also think you need to cut the floor out to make it fit.

Please post any info on what you find. We did have one member fit one in his 74 but he never did a write up. I have a complete LT1 T-56 sitting next to my 67. Its on the list of things to do just like the EFI system I have
