Just ordered a few safey items and I can't keep my 13 year old son out of it! He keeps asking to go for rides.

So I have different stages with this.
It will be my daily driver in about 3 years so I have that much time to make it right.

First I just want to clean it up, fix loose or broken pieces, etc.
(flasher relay is out, mirrors are loose, center console needs help)

Then I'd like to redo the interior to black with an accent in the seating. Maybe white and put white stripes on the car. Not sure.
Get a spoiler.

New rims/tires with staggered setup. It sits pretty low now so gotta get the back up slightly ,like 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch. Wheels may do that for me without messing with suspension.
At minimum new shocks but will check other suspension components.

A/C at some point

Then finally paint the whole thing. The paint is good now but my goal is silver or black.
(motor and trans are new)

The great thing is I can put maybe $400 in it now and drive it as is for years so the things I want to do are just improvements or cosmetics, not necessity.

Very nice looking. You might want to put a fence down the middle of the garage to protect it from falling bikes.

I hear you! Eventually that bike sitting there will be on the other wall. I just had to make some room for this car. I'm stuck with a 2 car garage for now, never again.

its funny because I never considered this color but the second he pulled it out of the garage and into the sun I was sold on it. On the way home I got a few thumbs up and a ton of looks. Never knew this car would get that attention, looks everywhere so far.

I think it's LeMans blue as far as I can tell.

Welcome, CaCruiser
Correct year as others have said.

Why is '68 the best?
When the General made the '67, he was learning, round front turn signals, mono-leaf springs, etc. and learned from the newness.

The General made the '68 year and refined her with a very nice features and still the voluptous body of a perfect Lady.
As you see, the front end is a shape holding pure unadulterated power with merely a wisp.
She carries her front very well, and the middle is one of the nicest waistlines one has seen.
The rear end is like a sculptured hip - nice, firm, and well-rounded.

The '69 year seems to have gained some cellulite - see the quarter grills?
Lost the firm round hips, er, quarters.

Lmao....some people still can't give in to the fact that the masses have spoken about the 69's top spot on the Chevy throne!

Alittle humor never hurt anybody.
Everybody has their favorite year, all in jest.
Let me get the next round.
