This isnt really in the realm of stock restorations but i have hit a wall. I am putting a gen iv LS engine in my 67 rs. When talking to my uncle he was giving me advice on the A/C system. He was saying the it would be benifical to move the compressor mount the the stock location for current LS setups, which is on the subframe.

He was telling me that he found a plate that gets welded to the subframe on 1st gens'. It matches the stock curves of the subframe and the LS a/c compressor would mount to it.

My uncle could not remember where he found it, and havnt been able to find it on summit or ricks camaro.

Has anyone else seen somthing like this?
