I have put alot of time and $$ in the past year in this 69 SS RS. It had sat or nearly 10 years after having a complete 406 built for it and was painted in 89,just an occasional ride to have oil changed and fresh fuel in once a year but kept of the weather.

Before and after on the engine bay..New rear gears just installed to 3.55's.
Best of all less than 14k paid..Not too shabby I think

Hey all! Havent been here in a long time. I picked up a new to me 1969 Z28. Im currently having a 460hp 383 built for it because it doesnt have its original 302 and with todays lousy pump gas here in commiefornia the 383 is a better runner for me. For some reason the photo thumbnails are upside down and I cant figure out how to rotate them. If an admin can do it I would appreciate it.

Well, trying to get a photo in here - a before pic if you will. This is the car right after I brought it home, cleaned it up, fixed all of the lights and things around the car to make it street worthy. Good start.

Thanks. I have a pile of boxes in the shop just waiting to go on the car. Need to have it done in 6 weeks to make the Good Guys show in Pleasanton, CA the first week of June.

Smile My '67 coming out of 33 years storage

I "temporarily" put this into indoor storage in 1983, yes, 1983! I'm kind of slow getting to things (ya think) but it's finally made its way to the "next project" head of the line.
Call it sacrilege if you want but I'm going to restomod this factory RS/SS into something still looking "original" but with all new underpinnings (an LS3 and 6 speed manual trans and a complete chassis from TCI).
Lots of original parts from this car are either up or are going to be up on ebay so just a heads up.
I have a couple "whole car" pictures I need to get pff my phone and add to this later

Sweet ride & project Jim. Good luck with your venture. I'm moving on with mine as well, but sure hate to see these parts come up now. I might have to buy a second one just to use what you get rid of. Lol.

Welcome and keep us informed with your build.

I know the feeling I parked my 69 Camaro for a couple of weeks in 1989 and just started working on it a couple of years ago !!
