what motor is in your car? the type and power ratings of your motor depend on the amount of vaccum the motor createds. it might be that there is something causing the lack of vaccum or your motor just doesnt make enough. if its the latter you could add a vaccum pump and/or a reservoir to help.

my motor makes enough vaccum but the main valve is a little touchy so sometimes it takes a few moments for them to open or i have to go tap the valve. it can make u think you are not making enough vaccum

i have a 350 with holley EFI my cam has a 548 lift with 270 duration and it has an estimated 450HP, i had an OEM type vaccum canister on it. I was talking to someone about an electric pump to run the lights but i havent been able to really find one, have you seen or heard of anyone running one of these and thanks for your help

ive heard of the new electric kits and ive seen one in action but they opened and closed way too hard. the doors were beating themselves up. the 67s had electric from the factory but they were terrible motors and burnt out very easily. ive never heard of a electric vaccum pump. also your motor should make enough vaccum i think its not really a wild and very hot motor. you might want to check your valve first to see if the main problem is lack of vaccum and not just a tempermental valve

i have it on my 68 with rs conversion....it works great....all you need is just the doors...no springs or anything.....it dont close hard like you heard. if there is any resistance at all, it just stops where its at....comes with everything you need.....installation instructions too....got mine at rickscamaro.com....it will show up as ecklers...i dont know how to post videos, so i cant show you, but if you want, give me your email, and i'll send one to you....
