Default build sheet

Where are the likely places a build sheet would be located? Any help here is greatly appriciated.

I found this:

If you can't find it in the glove box, under the back seats or on top of the gas tank than getting the exact manifest can be a hard thing to do.
One thing that you CAN get that is similar is called a VEHICLE OPTION PRINTOUT. This is a printout similar to the build sheet. Ask your service writer at your dealership to pull up the manifest on your car by VIN. (This information is as of yet unconfirmed. MCC) Another option is to get what is called a Vintage package from GM Production records at (905) 644-5000 for forty dollars

I am going to try and see if I can get one. I will look under the seats and on top of the gas tank, I also found where an owner found one in the cubby hole/wiring harness place behind the seat in the body. Good luck.

mostly above the gas tank or under the seat. after that you are grabbing at straws

the one for my new GTO was inside the tubing of the front bumper behind the nose. has nothing to do with your Camaro but Ijust found that interesting, that's all

I just called them. No luck. They only go back to 77. Oh well. If its not with the car or the PO its never gonna be found.

I had gone to my local Chevrolet dealership here where I live and they told me that they couldn't help me, the guy even called GM direct. The guy told me that if I had the POP then he could fax me the information. I told him that if I had the POP, I wouldn't be there bothering him. I do have a friend in Law Enforcement assisting me, so for those of you looking for more information, if you have friends in Law Enforcement, they may be able to help you as well.
