Brake light out running light on '68
Hi guys i have a '68 camaro and am having issues diagnosing a passenger side brake light/turning signal/running light issue. Simply the brake light doesn't work on the passenger side but the running light will. The drivers side functions fine when the running lights are NOT on but passenger side does nothing. When the running lights are on both passenger and drivers side illuminate but do nothing when brake is depressed.
Neither blinkers work either whether or not the running lights are on or off. License plate and side markers work fine when running lights are on.
Thinking maybe a bad switch?
They are grounded out properly and double grounded from the trunk interior to the body on the passenger light.

Have you checked the condition of your brake light sockets?
Any corrosion?
There should be three wires for the socket, check to make sure you got 12v going to the terminal that is for the brake light.
Check to see if the fuse for the brake light switch is still good. If for some reason you had a short, this might be the reason why the bulbs don't light up when you press the brake pedal.
