67 question
I just got a Base 1967 327, with power glide 100% numbers matching camero. Original how it came from the factory one owner. It has been sitting for 10 years so I'm changing all fluids spark plugs etc that I have to before I attempt to start it. So my question is, I removed all the smog equipment and people are telling me not to throw it away but to keep it. Do I really need to? They also said I could sell it but don't put it in the trash. Is there a market for that? I also have the hub caps that I'm not planning on using is there a market for them? I am new to this so sorry if they are dumb question (I will have more). Thanks

Keep anything. You can not see the future and those parts could be the difference between, no sale or a sale.
Yes there is a market for the parts but it may take awhile to find a buyer. I have two totes of original parts off my car.

Welcome to the club.
Agree with above suggestions.
Your first sentence says it all.
You have an original numbers Camaro with ALL the born-with options and equipment.
Any items you remove, keep them.
If you decide to sell later, more money will be received because of the originality.
Keep belts also - they are date coded and any mechanical part exchanged except for spark plugs.

Well to late for the belts they were in bad shape any way. Plan is to never sell it. It's been in my family from the start my great uncle was original owner, he has since past away and the car was given to me. But I guess you never know what the future holds. Thanks for the help.

True, one never knows what the future has to offer.
You may do whatever you would like to do because the Camaro is yours.
Enjoy her as your uncle, God bless his soul, would want you to do.
All we are suggesting is not to get rid of the original equipment she was born with from GM.
I would imagine, if you shown her at a show, in original condition, you would probably get a lot of comments on her present state.
Enjoy the cruise and the buffet they serve.
