You are right Flowride about the cost of the 2SS, but your forgetting one important reason why people choose the camaro over the Vette....long term maintenance costs are double for the Vette. Every part that is not shared with the camaro, that is solely for the Vette will cost a small fortune. In the long run, because its a camaro instead of a Vette, the overall cost to own a camaro is considerably less.

Agreed, but most people who buy cars don't keep their vehicles for a 12-14 year clip like you or me. The majority of folks buying a Vette or a Camaro will trade it in within 3-4 years for something new. For my money, I'd rather buy something like this with an extended warranty to 100K miles...all for the same price as a 2SS Camaro.

Looks like a Chevy Volt front end.

The world will be coming to an end if this is allowed to happen.

New Transformers trailer to air during the super bowl. I guess we'll soon see if this is our new Camaro (hope not)

I am looking forward to the new LT1/LT5 DI engines -- much newer technology which they had in the 5th Gen V6, but NOT the V8 which was always befuddling to me and I asked at the original reveal in Indy but got no real answer at the time. Surely the 6th Gen will have the LT series engines...
